In December, when I was in Stockholm, I bought a book called "Never Use White Type on a Black Background" by Anneloes van Gaalen (ed.). It is a compilation of quotes from famous creatives on the topics of design and fashion, grouped by fifty one "ridiculous" rules.

Van Gaalen's book has inspired me to re-perceive the rules published in the book with the help of HTML and CSS(3). So, I have decided to blog my perception of the 51 rules every month during 2011. (Not a couple, actually, but four or five rules every month. Why? Because 51 rules simply do not divide evenly by 12 months.) Anyway, hang tight, for they are coming very soon. Aside: Can you tell I am very excited? As in sharing what I can among other things in a year-long project. This kind of idea is much inspired by Kyle Steed's signature 52 profiles.
